Sea Side Happy Hour! {Charleston Photography}

Sometimes you just need a little girl time. A little wine, some nice cool air, and hey, a marina in which you are surrounded by sailboats isn't too bad either! That was just the case when I met with Liz & Kelly down at the Charleston Harbor Resort Marina one evening! The skies were a bit overcast, the evening air was cool, and the Rose was fabulous! We had lots of laughs and girl talk while enjoying the view! Well, go on, take a look for yourself!     What perfect outfits for the occasion! Ok so I am in love with those shoes from Southern Proper ! You can also find Kelly's skirt & bag on their website as well. I mean, so adorable! And who can not live without a location hat from Aviate !   Time for a little Rose courtesy of One Hope  ! And these adorable sunnies were the perfect accessory!  Gold Creations provided these beautiful rings. I can not tell you how much I love their jewelry! If you haven't checke...

Date Night at Lee Lee's! {Charleston Photography}

When a date night with friends is in place, Lee Lee's is the perfect spot. Located in downtown Charleston, Lee Lee's Hot Kitchen is an amazing place for an authentic Chinese cuisine. I recently tagged along with The Charleston Weekender ,  Charleston Shop Curator  , their spouses & friends, for an amazing good time and even more amazing food for a date night at Lee Lee's !  The decor inside is so bright & fun. HUGE vintage Chinese posters adorned the bright red walls, while red bird cages hung above the bar. There were so many pops of color everywhere which added to the fun atmosphere. The crowd began the night at the bar stocked with specialty cocktails, beer, & wine! Afterwords, my favorite part.. the meal! Our service was more than excellent, and the food was some of the best authentic Chinese food I have ever eaten. While we enjoyed our meal, we were able to chat a bit with the chef himself, Jeff Cal...

Edisto Beach Family Session

Heading to Edisto I was getting super anxious about the weather for this shoot. All day it was so sunny & beautiful. Then, naturally, as I head out for the hour & a half drive, the skies are getting a little darker & darker. Then the storm hits as I am literally 15 minutes away! I mean, to the point I can not even see the road. Thank goodness, the monsoon only lasted just that 15 minutes and moved on its way. The skies were overcast and there was no more rain...this was one happy lady! I was so excited to be able to capture this beautiful extended family session while they were staying in Edisto for vacation. And look at those two adorable little cousins, aren't they the cutest!
