A Rainy Beach Girls Date!



Here in Charleston you never know when a rain storm will pop up out of no where! So when you plan a girls date at the beach, and the rain begins, you make the best of it! And that's just what these lovely #HolyCityChicks ( XOXO I, Joelle, My Coastal Chaos, The Charleston Weekender, Chasing Cinderella, Thrifty Little Becca )did last month when we meet at Charleston Harbor Resort for a fun day of girl time, photo shoots, fashion, and rum!

We had the pleasure of trying some amazing rum courtesy of Kenny Chesney's Blue Chair Bay Rum! Totally made us feel like we were on a tropical island, rain and all! An their new Key Lime Cream flavor is just delish!






And even though it wasn't overly sunny due to the come & go rain, SEE Eyewear had us covered with their stylish sunnies for those occasional sun spouts!




And what could be better than these super cute, southern themed scarves from Charleston Krewe?! Yes, that is indeed little pelicans, oysters, and mint juleps printed on them! Perfect for our 
Charleston girls date!




Even the rain couldn't stop this crew from having an amazing day!

Their clothing line for young girls is simply stunning. I was super excited for her to have this opportunity! We chose a downtown / urban style setting for this shoot. I must tell you IT WAS HOT! A Rainy Day Agenda! { Charleston Photography }

It's surely not uncommon to say as a Charlestonion,  "It's raining! I guess we will have to wait for our girls day out!" Well Ashley and Liz say don't let those rainy Charleston weekends ruin your day! These lovely ladies showed me a few places right downtown sure to brighten your rainy day blues!  Eclectic Cafe & Vinyl This cafe was such a cool spot. Grab an espresso (or my case, iced coffee) and a book, or get lost in conversation in the couch area. There is also the coolest little corner hosting a record player with an amazing selection of vinyls. Slap on those headphones and get lost in the music! Gnome Cafe This cafe is such a ray of sunshine! Literally! The inside is so lovely with brightly colored decor, it's sure to bring sunshine to even the rainiest day.
