It wasn’t until a few weeks ago I was able to experience this amazing place full of history and charm. Founded in 1861 by Englishman Major John Boone, Boone Hall Plantation is located in Mount Pleasant South Carolina just off of Highway 17. It is home to intriguing southern history, beautiful grounds, and the location of several movie locations including The Notebook, North and South, and Alex Haley’s Queen.  Top image by me, bottom image scene from The Notebook. We decided on a beautiful Saturday in August for our trip & saved a little time by purchased our tickets online prior to our trip. Living in Charleston with the beach only 10 minutes from your home, can really make you a beach bum! So when my best friend of 20 years comes to visit and wants her babies session on the beach, I was ecstatic! Beach sessions are at the top of my favorite session locations, its my peaceful place. I am so excited to share with you what we were able to capture that day with these sweet beach babies!      

Oh my goodness, cuteness overload! My beautiful friend and local Charleston blogger Kelsey of Chasing Cinderella Blog met up with me for this adorable Christmas shoot! We met at a local tree farm and had the best time with her pups! Aren't they the cutest!      

When this beautiful lady contacted me about taking her anniversary images in Charleston, I was stoked! She said they would be vacationing in CHS from Ohio for their 1 year anniversary and wanted me to capture them while here! One of my favorite things about what I do is to capture images for those visiting & create a little piece of Charleston for them to take home with them! I had the best time chatting with this beautiful couple and capturing the beauty of their romance!
