'I can not believe what I am shooting' I thought as I attended this Sofia the First birthday party. It seemed like only yesterday I was doing this little ladies newborn session. But yep, much to my surprise, Miss Addilyn was turning the big 4. So, that being said, lets take a quick flashback to four itty bitty years ago...
... sweet baby girl. Ahh I remember this day like yesterday. Ok ok enough sappiness, back to the celebration! Addilyn's mommy, also named Jennifer might I add (what can I say..it's a great name :), did an amazing job with her little ladies celebration. Sofia the First themed so of course, purple & pink flowed everywhere! It was an outdoor party and a tad windy at times, but we made it work! Mom mad a book made of Addilyn's year as a 3 year old and had it on display for everyone to see. What an amazing idea! She also made crown sugar cookies, which I originally thought she had bought at a bakery, for guest favors. Super cute!
Aaaannnd the cake! Oh my it was stunning! Cake made by Jennifer's friend Tina.. and Tina you did a fab job!
A Sofia the First birthday party would not be complete without a surprise visit from the Princess herself! Sofia made a stop by to see Addilyn on her way back to the palace! I must admit this was my first time meeting Sofia and she was simply stunning. The children loved her! { Sofia courtesy of Glass Slipper Solutions }
This was such a fun party! I am super happy to have been a part of making Addilyn's birthday celebration memorable!
See ya next year!
