From Nashville to Folly Beach!

As you know by now (if you follow along with my work.. annnnddd I hope you do!) I love capturing my Charleston area vacationers while they visit our area. I recently meet this fun family while they were vacationing from Nashville, TN! We had a beautiful sunset session on Folly Beach and I am literally in love with every single one! Go ahead and see the magic we created for yourself!

Tavolo: A Taste of Italian in Charlotte!

Tavolo: A family style Italian restaurant in the uptown area of Charlotte, NC. Located at 300 North College Street, Tavolo offers fine Italian dining, wood fired pizzas, wine & cocktails, and more! Enjoy a seat at the full service bar, upstairs, or a traditional table in the downstairs dining area!

I recently had the pleasure of tasting this amazing restaurant for myself while working  in Charlotte with Kelly of Paper Meets Pearl
We started our trip to Tavolo with a few choice martini cocktails:  • the Fragola: vodka, simple syrup, sour mix, fresh strawberries & basil • the Bacio Del Limone: Prosecco, house made Limoncello, fresh raspberries

As we enjoyed these delicious house martinis, we decided to add a few appetizers into the mix.
• Carpaccio De Manzo: thinly sliced beef tenderloin topped with sea salt,  cracked black pepper, olive oil, arugula & asiago!

• Calamari Alla Diavolo: fried squid with roasted & cherry peppers,  served with marinara.

After devouring…

The Ivey's Hotel: Charlotte NC

A Weekend at The Ivey's Hotel in Charlotte NC!
An icon of beauty & excellence! That is the perfect way to describe this newer boutique hotel located in the heart of uptown Charlotte, NC. The Ivey's Hotel will amaze you with it's elegance & charm bringing Parisian glam and contemporary touches together. I had the pleasure of spending the weekend there with Paper Meets Pearl while working on commercial work in Charlotte.

The hotel's history as told by The Ivey's: "The Ivey’s Hotel is the result of an extensive, multi-million dollar renovation. Carefully preserved, the building’s landmark characteristics sparked the vision to create a luxury boutique property that evokes the history of Charlotte and surpasses all expectations for distinguished travelers. Charlotte was originally built at the crossroads of two Native American trading paths – Trade and Tryon. The Ivey’s Hotel is located one block away from this historic intersection, which is still the heart…

A Charleston Anniversary!

When this beautiful lady contacted me about taking her anniversary images in Charleston, I was stoked! She said they would be vacationing in CHS from Ohio for their 1 year anniversary and wanted me to capture them while here! One of my favorite things about what I do is to capture images for those visiting & create a little piece of Charleston for them to take home with them! I had the best time chatting with this beautiful couple and capturing the beauty of their romance!
