Addilyn Celebrates with Sofia!

'I can not believe what I am shooting' I thought as I attended this Sofia the First birthday party. It seemed like only yesterday I was doing this little ladies newborn session. But yep, much to my surprise, Miss Addilyn was turning the big 4. So, that being said, lets take a quick flashback to four itty bitty years ago...

... sweet baby girl. Ahh I remember this day like yesterday. Ok ok enough sappiness, back to the celebration! Addilyn's mommy, also named Jennifer might I add (what can I's a great name :), did an amazing job with her little ladies celebration. Sofia the First themed so of course, purple & pink flowed everywhere! It was an outdoor party and a tad windy at times, but we made it work! Mom mad a book made of Addilyn's year as a 3 year old and had it on display for everyone to see. What an amazing idea! She also made crown sugar cookies, which I originally thought she had bought at a bakery, for guest favors. Super cute!

Aaaannnd the cake! Oh my it was stunning! Cake made by Jennifer's friend Tina.. and Tina you did a fab job!

A Sofia the First birthday party would not be complete without a surprise visit from the Princess herself! Sofia made a stop by to see Addilyn on her way back to the palace!  I must admit this was my first time meeting Sofia and she was simply stunning. The children loved her! { Sofia courtesy of Glass Slipper Solutions }

This was such a fun party! I am super happy to have been a part of making Addilyn's birthday celebration memorable!

See ya next year!

2 Best Friends + 2 High Schools = GRADUATION

This time 14 YEARS ago, yours truly was preparing for life after graduation. It seems so unreal. I can remember getting our outfits together for graduation pictures and deciding what time we were going to meet because of course we had to go together! We would meet that day at our high school, stand posed for outdoor "casual" photos first, then head to the library for our "formal" shots. I am pretty sure that is the same routine now a days. BUT not for these lovely ladies! Last weekend, I met these two beautiful young ladies, best friends graduating from 2 different high schools. We met at Mepkin Abbey in Monks Corner SC. What an amazing setting as you can see! I had no problem getting laughs from these two and their true personalities came pouring out in each image! They just flowed together so well, I could see why they were best friends! I had so much fun with these young ladies and a HUGE Congrats to them on their graduation!

Aren't they beauties?! What year…

Lipstik Girls!

Bethany had an amazing opportunity to model for Lipstik Girls Clothing 2014 Elisa B. line! From the time she began working with Gooma Models she has wanted to work with this company. Their clothing line for young girls is simply stunning. I was super excited for her to have this opportunity! We chose a downtown / urban style setting for this shoot. I must tell you IT WAS HOT! We were roasting. We kept pushing on and after a few hours, we had finished this amazing shoot. UPDATE: The first image was listed on for Lipstik Girls / Elisa B. clothing. Shreek! You girls truly deserved it!

The Tipsy Pearl { Charleston / Folly Beach Home Photography }

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing an in home photo shoot for Kathleen. It was a combination of personal portraits for her, as well as shots of her beach home, The Tipsy Pearl. This lovelyamazing home in Folly Beach, SC is featured on Airbnb. This was actually the first time I have ever heard of Airbnb but what an amazing site! If you love to travel and haven't checked it, do it now! I was in heaven shooting Kathleen & her stunning gem. Check it out for yourself! And if you are planning a trip to Folly, check out the Tipsy Pearl on Airbnb!
